The Illusion

While looking at the reflection, the rose thought “ How beautiful I am”. She bent little further to look closely “has anyone seen me as a beauty before? “ The feeling of loneliness shrunk her petals. She bent further to kiss herself. In a second, her petals were floating in water.

The paper boat

 

knowing impermanent

knowing not worthy

but the paper boat floats

as far as it can

rain is merciless

wind is uncaring

but the paper boat floats

or swamped by the rain

 The water lily 

When I look at the water lily 

She asks me to look at the pond 

I keep staring at her... 

She is that beautiful

 Even the gloomy tranquil mountain,

 the paragon of stillness 

was stunned 

when a petal fell off a mountain rose
